Community Services Program
We acknowledge that all survivors have different needs. Not every survivor needs shelter. Our outreach offices in both Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties, House of Ruth’s Community Services program offers domestic violence counseling and education, crisis intervention, case management, and networking with community partners to provide crucial resources.

Case Management
Our team of case managers work with each survivor to assess their needs, goals, and barriers related to domestic violence. Together, a self-determined plan for self-sufficiency is developed; connecting them with the resources and referrals they need. One on one appointments are made to come alongside our survivors while they navigate this time in their life and provide solution focused support. Our case managers and advocates assist survivors in developing their goals and objectives, which can range from immediate needs such as food and shelter to long-term goals such as job training and education.
Educational Classes
In addition to our direct services, we also have available directories of community resources, pamphlets, brochures, and written material on issues related to domestic violence and various other topics. This allows us to provide comprehensive support to our survivors and ensure that they have access to the resources they need.
We offer classes and workshops on domestic violence education, parenting, financial literacy, employment, and senior support. Our classes are designed to provide survivors with the tools and skills they need to move forward, as well as to connect them with others who may be going through similar experiences.
