The Executive Team

Our Executive Management Team icludes four committed professionals with a passion for safeguarding personal autonomy and increasing accessibility to protected living. These women are not only outstanding members of the San Gabriel Valley community, they are avid humanists with a penchant for activism regarding the welfare of marginalized groups.

  • Pat Bell

    Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director

    Pat Bell brings a tremendous amount of experience to our agency. Her background includes 35 years of leadership in the corporate sector with expertise in personnel management and sales. Her non-profit career began 16 years ago at House of Ruth, with previous experience as the Development Director, Housing Project Manager, and other roles within the agency. Pat works actively with the board of directors and the staff to set strategic goals and objectives that allow House of Ruth to have a legacy of impact on the communities we serve. Pat is proud to lead our organization and feels privileged to work with talented, passionate people, all sharing the same vision; to end domestic violence.

  • Krystal Minniefield

    Chief Financial Officer

    Krystal Minniefield oversees the finances and government contracts at House of Ruth. She comes to House of Ruth with over 8 years of nonprofit accounting experience, including experience at agencies providing services to human trafficking survivors and survivors of domestic violence.

  • Melissa Pitts

    Chief Programs Officer

    Melissa grounds her work in the belief that all people have dignity, and we are worthy individuals capable of great things. Melissa is deeply passionate about the prevention of domestic violence. With over 24 years in the domestic violence field and 16 years of non-profit management Melissa understands and easily assess complicated dynamics involving power and privilege. Honored to be a member of the executive management team at House of Ruth, Melissa oversees all programs at the agency. She is responsible for program compliance, program development, and ensures that quality services are provided to each survivor. Melissa is grateful that she is carrying out her Heart Work & Purpose daily.

  • Rhonda Beltran

    Chief Development Officer

    Rhonda Beltran has been a professional fundraiser for over 35 years. In her position, she manages all fundraising, communication, digital media campaigns, and public relations. She is actively involved in the surrounding communities and has served on various local Boards and Committees. She has dedicated her life to making a difference in the communities which she and her family live.
